Obituary
Wayne Harris, age 80 of Elkton, passed away on Saturday, December 31st at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee of natural causes.
He was born September 21, 1942 in Todd County, Kentucky the son of the late Jack and Eula Hadden Harris.
He was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church in Elkton, was a veteran with the US Army and retired from Ardco.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Harris; a brother, Kenneth Harris and a sister, Margaret Darden. He is survived by four brothers, Russell, Winfred, Paul Harris all of Elkton and Jackie Harris of Olmstead; several nieces and nephews as well as a friend and his caregiver, Rita Phillips of Elkton.
There will be a Graveside Service on Thursday, January 5th at 11:00 a.m. with military rites at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with Pastor Randy Davenport and Rev. Jeremy Harris officiating.
