Victor “Moose” Powell Jr., age 77 of Kirkmansville, passed away on Tuesday, September 22nd at his home of natural causes.
He was born May 29, 1943 in Kirkmansville, Kentucky the son of the late Victor and Mary Dew Powell.
He was Baptist by faith and owner of Powell Trucking Company. He loved his family, fishing, his trucks, his boys and his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Steven Powell. He is survived by his wife Linda Powell of Kirkmansville; two sons Bill Carver (Lori) and Bob Carver (Sandy) both of Kirkmansville; a brother Hayden Powell of Kirkmansville; a sister Cecile Truitt of Texas; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
It was his wishes to be cremated. The family will have a private service on a later date.
