Thomas E. “Bub” Robertson, age 93 of Elkton, passed away on Monday, October 12th at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville of natural causes.
He was born July 31, 1927 in Logan County, Kentucky the son of the late Thomas Lee and Lula Robertson.
He was a member of the New Life Worship Center where he donated the land to build the church. In his earlier years he worked for Jewel Berry Farms, Nuckols Seed Company, Southern States Cooperative and then he retired from farming. He loved his family and loved to be outdoors farming and raising cows.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years Mabel Mason Robertson; three daughters Judy Robertson, Phyllis Camp and Linda Thomas; two brothers Bill and Nick Robertson; four sisters Marie Robertson, Elsie Hudnall, Peggy Weatherford and Lula Mae Hightower and one great granddaughter Brilee-Ann Hope Camp. He is survived by one son Ralph Robertson (Brenda) of Elkton; one daughter Diana Greenfield (Daryl) of Elkton; one sister Betty Jo Chance of Greenbrier, Tennessee; six grandchildren Anita Harris (Travis), Donna Knight (Timmy), Shannon West (Tracey), Kelvin Greenfield (Mishawn), Lance Camp (Brittney) and Kyle Robertson all of Elkton; ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; two son in laws Charlie Thomas and Larry Camp both of Elkton and his caretaker Margaret Darden of Elkton.
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Friday at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Heflin and Reverend Freddie Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.
Due to the coronavirus the visitation will be a walk-through visitation only and mask will be required per the family request. No shaking hands or hugging and there will be social distancing.
