Steven Garcia Obituary
Mr. Steven Roy Garcia, age 70 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 20th at his home due to complications from cancer.
He was born April 7, 1948 in Manistee, Michigan the son of the late Francis Garcia Schweitzer.
He served in the United States Army where he was a Vietnam Veteran, he volunteered for the Soup Kitchen at the Salvation Army and was a member of the DAV.
He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife Mari Garcia of Hopkinsville; two sons Gordon Garcia of Ft. Hood, Texas and Christopher Garcia of Hopkinsville; one daughter Lisa Wright of Tipton, Michigan; one brother John Schweitzer of Tennessee; two sisters Rose Buckingham of Hopkinsville and Candace Jones of Manistee, Michigan; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
