Sharon Johnson Lane, age 76 of Hopkinsville and formerly of Cadiz, passed away on New Year’s Day, Saturday, January 1, 2022 at her home of natural causes.
She was born March 29, 1945 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky the daughter of the late George T. and Mayme Cathcart Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Eddie Johnson and her husband, Terry Lane. She is survived by a daughter, Gina Futrell (Jeff) of Cadiz; two sons, Tommy Bridges (Toni) of Bowling Green and Johnny Lane of Panama City Beach, Florida; two brothers, Tommy Johnson (Carol Jane) of Graford, Texas and Ricky Johnson of Round Rock, Texas; two sisters, Bonita Johnson of Hopkinsville and Patti Card (Louie) of The Villages, Florida; five grandchildren, Chad Futrell (Theresa), Amanda Futrell, Ashlee Young (Jeffrey), Magen Miller (Mikey) and Aurora Lane and ten great grandchildren, Ben Futrell, Carsen Gresham, Lane Thomas, Tucker Futrell, Landen Pool, Rylen Pool, Elias Futrell, Elyce Miller, Maci Miller and Leela Young.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
