Rosalia Sanchez Obituary

Rosalia Sanchez, age 72 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, November 3^rd at the Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

She was born December 26, 1948 in Utuado, Puerto Rico the daughter of the late Juan Rodriguez and Maria Melendez Rodriguez.

She was of the Christian Pentecostal faith, and she loved her family, cooking, sewing, crocheting and dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannette Velez; a brother, Junior Rodriguez and a grandson. She is survived by a son, Luis Velez (Evelyn) of Hopkinsville; a daughter, Eleana Velez (John Izquierdo) of New York; five brothers, Hector Rodriguez, Orlando Rodriguez, Ivan Rodriguez all of Puerto Rico, Reynaldo Rodriguez of Detroit, Michigan and Jorge Diaz of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Edith Rodriguez of Puerto Rico and Lillian Rodriguez of Detroit, Michigan; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on a later date.
