Obituary
Ronald D. Fitzgerald, age 85 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, September 14th at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
He was born March 29, 1937 in Drakesville, Iowa the son of the late Carl H. and Iva Alice Burkholder Fitzgerald.
He was a member of Eagleway Church of Christ and served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed going to church, relaxing at home and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Fitzgerald and four sisters, Darlene Hudgins, Deloris Dickson, Deanna Kimberlin and Donna Melton. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bonita Fitzgerald of Hopkinsville and a sister, Doris Campbell (Richard) of Des Moines, Iowa.
There will be an Inurnment Service on Thursday, September 22nd at 11:00 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with Minister John Voss officiating.
