Pamela Dixon Obituary
Pamela Renee Dixon, age 72 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Friday, June 11th at her son’s residence of natural causes.
She was born January 9, 1949 in Statesville, North Carolina the daughter of the late Alvin Lee and Beatrice Isabella Hobbs Coggins.
She was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. She loved her family and doing crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Teddy Coggins and a sister, Archie Belle Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, William Dixon of Hopkinsville; two sons, Patrick Thomas of Pembroke and Stephen Crawford of Hopkinsville; two daughters, Amanda Mier of Drakesboro and Angela Laytart of Eddyville; a brother, Donald Lee Coggins of Hopkinsville; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
There will be a private Memorial Service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Pennyroyal Hospice.
