Marty Stokes

Marty Stokes, age 64 of Elkton, passed away on Wednesday, September 1^st at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

He was born February 6, 1957 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky the son of the late Ed Stokes Jr. and Virginia Knight Stokes.

He loved his dog, Sugar and liked old cars and motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven Stokes; a daughter, Misty Stokes; a brother, Gary Stokes and four sisters, Peggy Latham, Sharon Stokes, Judy Stokes and Shannon Stokes. He is survived by four brothers, Mark, Danny, Scott and Douglas Stokes all of Elkton and three sisters, Wanda Reynolds of California, Carolyn Smith and Teresa Stokes both of Elkton.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 at the New Life Worship Center in Elkton with Rev. Jerry Sweeney and Rev. Eddie Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at the Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Elkton.

The family is asking that you wear a mask if you attend the visitation or funeral.
