Judy Darlene Jones, age 75 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 17th at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
She was born March 11, 1945 in Charleston, Illinois the daughter of the late Edgar and Bernice Kemper Brandenburg.
Mom loved the Lord. Mom was love and she loved us all big. She was giving and always there when we needed her for our comfort. She gave the best hugs and was always the last one to let go. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family playing games and gambling. Mom was home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Jones; a brother, Myron Brandenburg; a sister, Janet Brandenburg and a grandson, Danny Jones. She is survived by two sons, James Jones of Indian Mound, Tennessee and Donnie Jones of Clarksville, Tennessee; two daughters, Jackie Easton of Hopkinsville and Charlene Jones of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister, Barb Oakley of Marshall, Illinois; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family chose cremation. There will be a memorial service on a later date in Illinois.
