John "Dicky" Earl Robertson

Mr. John Earl “Dicky” Robertson, age 64 of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, March 3^rd at his home of natural causes.

He was born July 23, 1953 in Russellville, Kentucky the son of the late Remus and Cleo Robertson.

Dicky loved people and people loved him.  He enjoyed working as a mechanic, listening to music and fishing from time to time.  He adored being “tataw” to his grandchildren.  He turned his heart to Jesus.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a brother James “Bubba” Robertson, a sister Wanda Robertson and a step-son Tony Cobb.  He is survived by his wife Ruthie Black Robertson of Lewisburg; two sons John Robertson of Illinois and Travis Robertson of Lewisburg; two daughters Amanda Shifflett and Angela Robertson both of Russellville; two step-daughters Amy Cobb of Olmstead, Bettina Cobb Shank of Guthrie; one brother Ricky Robertson of Tennessee; two sisters Betty Sue Welborne of Guthrie and Nancy Walker of Cadiz; eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Robertson family will be on Wednesday, March 7^th from 12:00 until funeral service time at 2:00 at the Trenton Assembly of God, 2239 Clarksville Rd., Trenton, Kentucky with Rev. Mike Dorsey officiating.  Interment will follow at the Red Oak Grove Church Cemetery in Russellville, Kentucky.
