John Elwert Whiteside

John Elwert Whiteside, age 73 of Bowling Green, passed away on Friday, November 18^th at his home of natural causes.

He was born January 12, 1949 in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Elwert Armour and Grace Mildred Payne Whiteside.

He was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will live forever in their hearts and memories. He loved cooking, gardening, woodworking, sailing, model trains and especially spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Eric Whiteside. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Whiteside of Bowling Green; a daughter, Catherine Heather Whiteside Messer (Daniel) of Alvaton, Kentucky; a sister, Carol Jean Whiteside of Vienna, Ohio; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Whiteside Yalovich of Yakima, Washington, Lily Whiteside Price of Yakima, Washington, Hannah Whiteside of Moscow Mills, Missouri, lain Messer and Raena Messer both of Alvaton, Kentucky.
