Obituary
Jean Burgin, age 72 of Franklin, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, August 25th at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky of natural causes.
She was born February 7, 1950 in Mineral Wells, Texas the daughter of the late David and Mae Broomfield Handy.
Her passion and biggest hobby was art of all kinds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Handy. She is survived by two sons, Mike Burgin of Aztec, New Mexico and Derrell Burgin of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three daughters, Rebecca Sheagren of Franklin, Kentucky, Melissa McKinzie of Midland, Texas and Jada England of Topeka, Kansas; two sisters, Linda Hicks of Lubbock, Texas and Liz Broadstreet of Andrews, Texas; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The family chose cremation. There will be no services.
