James Wallace Brown, age 81 of Dawson Springs, passed away on Thursday, June 10th at his home of natural causes.
He was born November 7, 1939 in Adamsville, Kentucky the son of the late Wallace and Alma Hunter Brown.
He served in the United States Marines, and he loved his family, golfing, ginsing and mushroom hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Andy Brown and a brother, Wallace Brown, Jr. He is survived by a daughter, Teresa Cavanaugh (Keith) of Dawson Springs; a brother, Norman Brown of Hopkinsville; two sisters, Janie May Abrahms of Crofton and Linda Merchant of Nortonville; a grandson, Justin Cavanaugh (Danielle) of Louisville, Kentucky and a companion, Wanda Case of Benton, Kentucky.
It was his wishes to be cremated. There will be a private service on June 25th.
