James McCallister Obituary
James E. McCallister, age 77 of Dawson Springs and formerly of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, February 18th at the Dawson Springs Nursing and Rehab in Dawson Springs, Kentucky of natural causes.
He was born April 21, 1943 in Princeton, Kentucky the son of the late Alex Jefferson and Darlis Hester McAlister.
He was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed farming, painting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Bratcher McCallister; a son, Jimmy McCallister and two brothers, Joe Carroll McAlister and Jackie McAlister. He is survived by a son, Jeffery McCallister of Paducah; a brother, Charles McAlister of Princeton; four grandchildren, Brandy Golding, Chris, Jessica and Jarrett McCallister; ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
The family chose cremation. There will be a memorial service on a later date.
