Obituary

Edith Johnson, age 67 of Guthrie, passed away on Wednesday, August 17th at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee of natural causes.

 

She was born February 25, 1955 in Chestertown, Maryland the daughter of the late George and Glada McCormick Edwards.

 

She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and she enjoyed gardening and sitting outside watching the hummingbird’s.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank “Buddy” Johnson and a sister, Glenda Joyce Conrad. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Johnson (Georgia) of Tennessee and John Johnson (Anna) of Kentucky; a daughter, Lisa McBride (Jeremiah) of Nebraska; a brother, Barry Edwards of Millington, Maryland; a sister, Francis Schultz of Seaford, Delaware; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

 

There will be a Celebration of Life & Remembrance Memorial Service for Edith on Saturday, August 27th with a visitation from 3:00 until service time at 4:00 at 338 East Park Street, Guthrie with Mike Tino-Cunniffe officiating.
