Doris Swiss Obituary
Doris Jean Swiss, age 88 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, October 17th at the Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana of natural causes.
She was born August 3, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Bruce and Elsie Bray Fowler.
She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of several Methodist churches where her husband served as Pastor. She loved her family, embroidering, reading and was a foster parent for years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Swiss; a son, John Swiss and three sisters, Virginia Polston, Ruth Brown and Nancy Winfield. She is survived by three sons, David Swiss of Hopkinsville, Aaron Swiss of Crofton and James Swiss of Hopkinsville; two daughters, Rebekah Diaz of Fajardo, Puerto Rico and Sarah Swiss of Hopkinsville; a sister, Mary Brown of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and one grandchild.
There will be no services at this time.
