Deborah Watson, age 66 of Hopkinsville and formerly of Flint, Michigan, passed away on Friday, October 2nd at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
She was born May 19, 1954 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of the late Earl and Pauline Prieur Stewart.
She loved cooking and entertaining. She looked forward to and enjoyed her favorite season of the year which was the Fall. Mom as she was known to all, took great pride and enjoyment in life by spending time with and caring for her large and extended family. Once in her home your family and that was her greatest joy in life.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Mark Stewart. She is survived by her husband Scott Richardson of Flint, Michigan; four sons Erik Watson, Jason King, Carlos Rice (Ashley) and Josh Richardson all of Michigan; four daughters Shianne Shampo (Christopher), Nina King (Bradford McKinnis), Catherine Harper (James) and Karley King all from Michigan; two brothers Rodney Stewart and Roger Stewart both of Michigan; one sister Katherine Allen of Michigan; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will do a memorial service at a later date.
