Cecil Ray Hawkins

Cecil Ray Hawkins, age 68 of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, February 18^th at his home.

He was born October 23, 1954 in Princeton, Kentucky son of the late Bobby Cecil and Betty Nell Jones Hawkins.

He was a member of the Lewistown Christian Church and was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for many years. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with all of them as well as his friends. He had a passion for farm equipment, enjoyed spending time outdoors and was a handyman that could fix anything. He never met a stranger and would help anyone in need without hesitation. In his free time, he enjoyed watching old westerns.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Helen Hawkins and Callie and Fannie Jones; three brothers, Randy, Tony and John Hawkins and one sister, Becky Chambers. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Martha “Suzie” Hawkins; two daughters, Jennifer Hawkins and Patrica “Tosha” Martin (Asa Stephens); two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Timmy “Bubba” Martin; two sisters, Patricia Robinson and Darlene Chambers; two aunts, Connie Robertson and JoAnn Thompson as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, March 4^th from 10:00 until memorial service time at 2:00 at the Lewistown Christian Church in Princeton with eulogy by Pastor Bobby Noel.
