Sharon Phillips Obituary
Sharon Sue Phillips, age 71 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Friday, February 1st at the Christian Health Care Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
She was born November 25, 1947 in Urbana, Illinois the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Nicholson Dorsett.
She loved her family especially her grandchildren and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one sister Joyce Coker. She is survived by her husband Charles Phillips of Hopkinsville; two sons Samuel Phillips of North Carolina and Charles Monroe Phillips of Hopkinsville; one daughter Gina Steigberg of Illinois; two brothers Kevin and Roger Dorsett both of Urbana, Illinois; three sisters Teresa Toombs of Oak Grove, Debbie Kamphaus of Indianapolis, Indiana and Virginia Severns of Champaign, Illinois; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
There will be no services. It was her wishes to be cremated.
