Reverend Paul Guy Farmer, age 75 of Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 10th at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN of natural causes.
He was born July 28, 1944 in Herndon, Kentucky the son of the late Guy Sanford and Mabel Eunice Lyle Farmer.
He was the Pastor and Founder of New Covenant of Grace Ministries in Hopkinsville, KY and was a lineman for Pennyrile Rural Electric. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his dog Izzy. He had a devout love for his family, his church, God’s word and most of all, the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his son Jeffrey Paul Farmer; a brother Claude Campbell Jr. and three sisters Dorothy Louise Farmer Welnitz, Margaret Ann Farmer Smith and Martha Frances Farmer Killebrew. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Connie Wood Farmer of Hopkinsville; three daughters Lori Ann Olp (Mark), Tara Hope King (Roy) and Ashley Wood Walton (Clay) all of Hopkinsville; five grandchildren Ashton Moriah Hope King Alder, Sheldon McKenna Grace King, Peyton Josiah Wade King and Emma Kathryn Walton all of Hopkinsville and Stephanie Elizabeth Olp Starr of Louisville and three great grandchildren Caleb Mason Wade Boyd, Ava Moriah Jane Alder both of Hopkinsville and Maddox D. Starr of Louisville.
There will be a visitation on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life service at 5:00 p.m. at the New Covenant of Grace Ministries in Hopkinsville, KY with Rev. Roy King officiating.
