Patricia Shumate

Patricia Shumate, age 56 of Elkton, passed away on Saturday, July 6^th at her home of natural causes.

She was born November 5, 1962 in Clarksville, Tennessee the daughter of the late Gather Lee “G.L.” and Mary Josephine Johnson Heflin.

She was a member of Pea Ridge House of Prayer.  She loved spending time with her family especially her grandson Luke.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as a brother Marty Heflin and a grandson Easton Wade Griffin.  She is survived by two daughters Wendy Griffin (Justin) and Paige Sears (Brayden) both of Elkton; a sister Mary Ann Sartain (Marcus) of Clarksville and a grandson Luke Griffin.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home and again on Thursday from 12:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 at the New Life Worship Center, 1090 Pond River Road, Elkton with Rev. Kevin Heflin officiating.  Interment will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.
