Mylenadia Faye Slade, age 76 of Oak Grove, passed away on Sunday, September 2nd at her home of natural causes.
She was born March 13, 1942 in Pass Christian, Mississippi the daughter of the late Charles and Bertha Elizabeth Sterling Holley.
She was a member of Westview Assembly of God Church in Hopkinsville. She loved her family and was a huge believer in Jesus. She loved helping people and just loved to be involved in everything that would help or benefit others.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one son Darrell Earl Slade; eight brothers George, Earl, Raymond, Charlie, Howard, Jack, Arnold and Jerald Holley and three sisters Alice Holley Cox, Inez Holley Kopszywa and Delores Holley Mason. She is survived by her husband Donald Hanscom of Oak Grove; a son Timothy Slade of Oak Grove; four daughters Belinda Tyra of Oak Grove, Vanessa Jones, Valarie Slade and Tanya Blue all of Hopkinsville; one sister Betty Holley Merrick of Huber Heights, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers are Timothy Slade, Christopher McIntyre, Nathan and Darrell Tyra.
It was her wishes to be cremated.
