Jennifer Marie James

Mrs. Jennifer Marie James, age 46 of Cadiz, passed away on Wednesday, March 7^th at Baptist Health in Madisonville of natural causes.

She was born September 14, 1971 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky the daughter of William Herschel and Gustie Joiner Long Compton.

She was a member of Christ Fellowship Church in Cadiz.

She was preceded in death by her father as well as one sister Susan Denise Long.  She is survived by her husband John James, Jr. of Cadiz; two daughters Whitney James of Crofton and Kayla James of Murray; her mother Gustie Compton of Cadiz; four brothers William Anthony Long of Hopkinsville, Michael Wayne Long of Tucson, Arizona, Christopher Bruce Long of Clarksville, Tennessee and Nathan Ryan Long of Hopkinsville and three sisters Linda Gayle Long of Clarksville, Tennessee, Cynthia Lynn Mathis of Hopkinsville and Lisa Ann Long of Westmoreland, Tennessee.

Visitation with the James family will be on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 at the New Covenant of Grace Church, 524 W. 7^th Street, Hopkinsville.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday morning at 11:00 at the New Covenant of Grace Church with Rev. Forrest Goodman officiating.  Interment will follow at the Flat Lick Church Cemetery in Hopkinsville.
