George Rouse Obituary

Mr. George Gerald Rouse, age 89 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, March 22^nd at his home of natural causes.

He was born December 12, 1928 in Greenwood, South Dakota the son of the late Ambrose and Grace Atana Rouse.

He worked in the oil rigs and retired from manufacture management. Then he enjoyed doing carpentry and ranching which he did until a few years ago.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers Jesse and Donald Rouse; four sisters Geraldine and Genieve Rouse, Vivian Arrow and Arlene Arpan and one granddaughter Lexie Wakan LaMere.

He is survived by his wife Agnes Rouse of Hopkinsville; six sons Gerald (Victorya) Rouse of Spokane, Washington, FSC, USA Retired George (Gayle) Rouse of Mandeville, Louisiana, Travis Rouse of Hopkinsville, Jason Rouse of Chicago, Illinois, Onis (Deb) Rouse of Las Vegas, Nevada and Ellis Rouse of Hopkinsville; three daughters Cynthia (Frank) LaMere of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Ilona (Monte) Anderson of Lyman, Nebraska and Rhonda Fulton of Clarksville; two sisters Maxine Rouse of Lake Andes, South Dakota and Marcella Big Eagle of Pierre, South Dakota; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.

There will be a Native American Traditional Service on Sunday, March 25^th at 12:00 noon at the Hidden Lake Lodge, 7881 Antioch Church Road, Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
