Daniel "Danny" Thomas Darden

Mr. Daniel “Danny” Thomas Darden, age 73 of Hopkinsville and formerly of Elkton, passed away on Friday, December 14^th at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

He was born September 24, 1945 in Russellville, Kentucky the son of the late Floyd and Margaret Ernestine Moore Darden.

He was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church.  He loved his family, bird and rabbit hunting, fishing horse racing, stock car racing and working on vehicles.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one brother J.C. Darden and one sister Eleanor Coursey.  He is survived by one son Michael Darden of Elkton; one daughter Regina Farley of Lewisburg; one brother Kenneth Darden of Portland, Tennessee; two sisters Erma Lucille Williams of Peoria, Illinois and Betty Jean Martinez of Russellville and one grandson Alex Borders of Elkton.

Visitation with the Darden family will be on Tuesday from 6:00 until memorial service time at 7:00 at the New Life Pentecostal Church in Elkton with Bro. Jimmy Dukes officiating.  Interment will be on a later date.
