Amos Mitchell Obituary
Mr. Amos Hopson Mitchell, age 77 of Fredonia, passed away on Friday, August 24th at his home of natural causes.
He was born April 1, 1941 in Princeton, Kentucky the son of the late Louis and Hazel Burnham Mitchell.
He was a member of White Sulphur Baptist Church in Fredonia. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting, farming and watching sports especially UK basketball.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one brother William L. “Sonny” Mitchell. He is survived by his wife Creatie Bevins Mitchell of Fredonia; son Todd Mitchell (Sharon) of Fredonia; two daughters Amy Palmer and Lori Jackson (Bill) both of Princeton; brother Eddie Mitchell (Linda) of Princeton; sister Daisy Rogers (Donnie) of Princeton; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are several cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be a Graveside Service on a later date.
